Doug brings over 25 years’ experience in providing business, legal, and financial advice to a wide range of start-up and small businesses. His direct involvement with entrepreneurs, bankers, shareholders, and vendors alike has afforded him a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in starting and growing an innovative enterprise. Doug is skilled both in capturing operational efficiencies and in translating business needs into financial projections as well as legal drafting. He is equally accomplished as an executive and attorney.
Most recently, Doug served as CFO of a start-up medical device company focused on hand sanitization through the application of aqueous ozone. Prior to that, he was a co-founder and CFO/COO of a diagnostic pathology laboratory in Chicago, IL and has served in similar capacities for various start-up and early stage businesses including medical testing and education, financial services, and aviation.
Doug has served on various local boards in Indianapolis. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania as well as a law degree from Indiana University School of Law.
