With 25+ years of experience as a physician entrepreneur and investor, Eric spearheads strategic collaborations, leads high-performance teams, and drives organizational results. He has made 25+ angel and private-equity investments and founded the Fort Wayne chapter of VisionTech Angels.
Eric was previously the CEO of two physician RCM startups, achieved successful exits from both, and founded MedOptima. He also served as the startup CEO of Matrix-Bio, a Purdue cancer diagnostics spinout that raised $1.3M+ in angel capital and secured a commercialization agreement with Quest Diagnostics. Earlier roles included product line manager for cardiovascular diagnostics at Boehringer Mannheim (now part of Roche Diagnostics) and practicing as an emergency physician in northeast Indiana.
