Indianapolis-based medical technology company Precision Care Technologies has selected Jennifer Holmes to serve as CEO. Holmes most recently served as CEO of Rehab Boost Inc. in Miami, Florida, which was acquired last October.
Precision Care Technologies is continuing to develop its Quantifiable Soft Tissue Manipulation, or QSTM, system, which aims to help physical therapists, chiropractors and rehabilitation specialists provide more consistent treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
The system uses a device developed by Dr. Terry Loghmani, a physical therapist at Indiana University in Indianapolis, and two Purdue University engineers that can measure the amount of force a therapist applies during manual therapy.
Precision Care Technologies, a portfolio company of Indianapolis-based Boomerang Ventures, says the information provided by the technology can help optimize recovery outcomes.
